In this last month, Spanberger in VA and Sherril in NJ have shown that centrists will not save us. Centrists are folding in the moments we need them most. Meanwhile Mamdani in NYC has shown how progressives focused on working families get the job done.

None of this is surprising. Centrism is complicity. Always has been.

40+ states still have primary elections. Elect progressives, elect fighters accountable to working people, not corporate interests.

Someone commented recently on the need to basic manuals. And yeah - you want to know how to do something, and there is a 17 min youtube video for a 5s answer, a page that tells you everything except the one point you need to know, and a "17 tips and tricks" that you should not need to know.

And a recipe? "The first time I ever tasted beans on toast was ....." We have turned basic instructions into stories and myths.

Meanwhile, we have taken the Bible, and the mythology of the past and turned it into a set of rules to be followed. Or ignored them, because they are not precisely accurate.
