Flying Donny for Democracy1. Severe storms bypassed us yet again. There were tornado warnings nearby to both our north and south as well as a severe thunderstorm warning for 90 mph winds, but we just got thunder and brief heavy rain. Many tornadoes in IA and adjacent states. 😢
2. I think I already see a little improvement in Donny's hips after 2 months of our doing his pt exercises almost every day.
3. Tasty lunch.

1. Walked my invisible dog (remember those from the State Fair junk pile?)
2. While on the walk, enjoyed gorgeous mid-April weather at dusk and listened to the birdsong. Resisted temptation to look at Cornell Bird ID app on phone and just enjoyed the bliss.
3. After months of persistent & boring, repetitive neck exercises, finally relief from stiff neck arrived. Hallelujah!
Invisible Dogs
Joseph1. Walked my dog 4 miles on neighborhood sidewalks.
2. Chatted briefly with a kind stranger who said she understood when I crossed the street to avoid confrontation with between her well-behaved dog and my reactive rescue dog. I also exchanged a friendly wave and a good morning greeting with two other lady strangers and their doggies.
3. Got back home and enjoyed freshly brewed coffee and a “very very berry blueberry muffin” from Central Market. 😋

1. Walking 2 out of the 3 dogs around the woodland at the south end of the farm and sitting on my "seat" (see pic) for a moment of reflection. It's comfier than it looks.

2. A pre-bagged salad that we bought 4 days ago was still in excellent condition when we opened it. That rarely happens, so I was thrilled.
