I used to work at a botanic garden, and someone wrote in to complain about the number of non white staff in the cafe and how it should stop serving so much foreign food and serve "proper English food like quiche". I know this because the letter was circulated around the entire organisation to be universally mocked.
I miss the days when this sort of thing was treated with derision instead of called "legitimate concerns"
