Aho#Unifi has released the #GatewayMax #UXGMax the 2.5GbE ports are something I have been looking for (actually I wanted at least 5GbE, but this better than what the USX-Lite has), the only thing I miss is one PoE+ port, so that you could power the Unifi #U7Pro

Crap. Since last week I was deciding which #Ubiquiti devices to get to replace my Eero network devices and the #U7Pro sold out twice. thinking of picking an #u6mesh for the area where i would eventually want something like u7 pro. Even considering a #u6enterprise for that area, but that would be overkill. Even if it's for the first floor, since it just an apartment. #UniFi p.s. i'm keeping my #Firewalla as my router and firewall.
HeledironInstalled a new Wifi7 AP (access point). It's Unifi U7 Pro from Ubiquiti. I had to replace a broken AP, and they just started to sell it. It was reasonably priced too, 165€+VAT from Ubiquiti EU store. I have no Wifi7 devices, but the new one is great Wifi6/5/4 AP!
My phone is happily surfing though the new 6Ghz band. I quickly tested throughput with iperf3 to local server, and the phone transfers 700..900Mb/s via 80Mhz wide channel. I could configure 160 or 320Mhz wide channels, but i just don't need that much bandwidth.
All old devices, including some old 2.4GHz-only devices, connected without trouble to the new AP.

#ubiquiti released their new #U7Pro and I have to say I felt disappointed on the specs

Had expected to see at least 4x4 on the 5 and 6 GHz, the U6Lite feels cramped and slow with just 3 devices and it uses 5Ghz 2x2.
