goetzI hate, that I have to explain again and again that EUI64 address generation is the worst feature of #IPv6 in terms of tracking and privacy.
Nevertheless nearly all #IoT devices us #lwIP which lacks RFC7217 or RFC4941/8981 support and leaks GUIDs to everyone listening.
When is everyone taking this serious?
Even a famous German CPE vendor uses this method.

Is it safe to rearrange the disks in a DS923+ without any trouble? I've got three disks as a SHR (bays 1-3), and a disk 4 as a single SHR(bay 4) at the moment. I'd like to move the single disk to bay 1 instead and move the others to 2-4).
MöhrchenYesterday, I got #Immich running in a #Docker container on my #Synology. Thanks to a tutorial, the setup was quite straightforward. The indexing is now at a stage where people and places can be assigned. While I can’t fully use all the features yet—since not all my photos have been processed (less than 1TB out of 5TB 😁)—I’m already amazed at how powerful this photo management system is. This is exactly what I’ve always wanted.

Es gibt aber eine REST-Api für kDrive auf die man Zugriff hat. Also kurzerhand einen WebDAV Wrapper dafür gemacht mit Multi-Tenancy-Support (für die anderen Konten der Familie) und in einen LXC im Heimnetz gepackt. Jetzt können #Synology #CloudSync und #HyperBackup per #WebDAV mit kDrive reden.

iSchackSeit Jahren läuft mein #TimeMachine-Back-up zuverlässig auf ein #Synology-#NAS. Das ist aber ganz schön in die Jahre gekommen und ich ersetze es gerade durch eins von #Ugreen.
