Out of all the wonderful obscure, rare, and private press compilations that Numero has put out over the years, this is one of my two favorites.

If you are a fan of acoustic guitars (or just guitar players in general), this comp of obscure “solo acoustic movement” artists is for you.

Ranging from 1966-1981, the artists on here were doing their thing for years, selling their privately pressed records hand to hand.

There’s a song on here by an artist named Daniel Hecht, which is notable, because he would go on to become a mystery novelist, and win a Bram Stoker award.

Another artist, Mark Lang, was an NFL player, a draftee of the Kansas City Chiefs (boooooo!).

There’s so much good music here; from men who were luthiers, others who only liked detuned guitars, raga-based players.
It’s all incredible.

Oggi l'ho anche cantato: sono arrivato al foglio 26r di #R71sup e c'era Lo roseignolet salvage, uno dei pezzi più belli di Gaucelm Faidit, era nel programma che cantavo qui a casa per i concerti in tempo di Covid, per due spettatori alla volta qui da me.
Ho cantato la prima cobla, ce ne sono mi pare altre cinque.

Il microfono fa vincere l'arpa salterio, ma va bene così :-)

Seconda canso di Gaucelm Faidit da #R71sup, e devo dire che è un autore strepitoso, come immaginavo (e comunque ho già cantato cose sue).

Lo gen cors honraz, brano che gira attorno a vari modi, inseguirlo non è stato facile. Sempre con arpa salterio, non canto.

Il codice G, #R71sup , dopo Bernart, propone una serie di brani di Gaucelm Faidit, trovatore speciale ai miei occhi, ne racconterò.
Senti la differenza di piglio di questa melodia rispetto a quelle di Bernart - mi è venuta voglia di aggiungere paccate di riverbero, secondo me ci sta bene, in questo caso.
Sempre con arpa salterio.
Che bello avere il tempo di studiare.
