What a dreadful day today has been so far, gale like winds and torrential rain all day up to now 🌬🌧☔🌧🌬 and really pretty dark, even though it’s only 1:15 in the afternoon I’ve resorted to closing the curtains and turning the room lights on because I was getting so little daylight through the windows and to be honest it was all a bit depressing 😕

I’m very glad that I’m sat here in my living room with a hot cup of tea, the curtains are closed so I cannot see the depressing weather, the lights are on, the heating is on and I feel quite cozy in my own little cocoon of warmth and comfort 😊

I have had a midday nap which was nice after getting up at 5:30 am and feel quite refreshed, I can still hear the wind and rain lashing about outside but if I blank it out it’s rather nice here indoors 😊

I discovered a flaw in my waterproof coat during my ride home today. Apparently the pockets apparently hold water.

Only the second wet day in 2000miles this year though.
