okay, onto better things, taken last week …it occurs that any photography is also a form of surveillance, but I don't think I disturbed anyone

I've taken photos of this tree before, and I'm not the only one enamored by it. There's a guy doing plein air painting of the scene on the left side of the photo. It's hard to get a sense of scale for this tree.... It's the size it's supposed to be, and you -can- walk right by it and not notice it, but it's huge.
