Started project pull-up today. Which actually meant desperately clinging to the bar as I lowered myself, supported by no less than three super strength resistance bands 😂 Eh, we all gotta start somewhere, and pull-ups have always been my mountain. Doesn't help that I weight over 90kg 🥵 but I did three straight sets of 5 as part of a bigger workout. RIP my 💪🏻 tomorrow lmao

If you've experienced autistic burnout, have you noticed that your muscles are just less powerful? I'm smack in the middle of autistic burnout but I've been working out when my energy is there, as I know and have noticed that it's good for me and also helps to regulate my nervous system. However, despite having the energy, my muscles just… it's like they don't want to? They're like, "NOPE!" 😆
I'm weaker, can lift less, and less often before hitting a pain threshold. Hypertrophy is more severe and I'm sore for way longer. My muscles are also generally much tighter but tbf that might be the CPTSD (I recently started trauma therapy).
I've just been wondering if this is a shared experience. The only other time I know I was in autistic burnout I wasn't working out regularly, so I can't compare it.
