Hans Roel will perform Toetsingen, a cycle of improvisatory works for a software synthesizer that Hans has been building for several years. This synth (called Mimba) is based on algorithms that mimic physical processes (vibrating strings, air blowing through a pipe, etc.)

Through an experimental and collective approach, participants will build electromagnetic microphones using components salvaged from domestic appliances, in order to reveal the electromagnetic fields they emit and compose a form of mechanical orchestration from them.
