learning #ptc #creo since that's what we have a license for at work. it's less slick than #fusion360 but has been pretty easy to adapt to. the only thing i find myself missing is the cleaner user parameters menu and the parameter suggestion / tab completion when dimensioning things
big up to the #spacemouse for helping with navigation. it's really nice just focusing on modeling and not having to relearn all the part / camera orientation controls

This has taken several days to get it this parametric. But now I can go in and change the cartridge height to make it giant for say, a prototype board, and it will automatically resize and insert additional screw posts.
We have published an extension for #fusion360 for fitting surfaces to mesh files, making it much easier to do parametric edits to files only available as a mesh.

@brett I use SpaceMouse Wireless and it is great for both 2D and 3D navigation in #Fusion360, #SolidEdge, #OnShape, #PrusaSlicer, etc. It took me a couple of days to get used to it, of course. I like rotating the model and looking at it from all sides and angles, zooming in and out to check some corners, filets, etc.
Can you go without one? Yes, but it makes using these tools flawless and easier vs. with regular mouse. It works in many other apps, too, but its main strength is 3D navigation.
That took quite a lot of battling but I got the new #FujiNet proto board to come up on CoCo! I jumpered the pins for now to make it so all the GPIOs are in the lower 32bit window to make it easier to start from the PicoROM code.
