Continuing our journey through the epic Fedi-sourced catalogue of must-hear albums, our next spotlight is on number 622 on The List, submitted by mbr. This is the only full-length (thus far) from Polynesian black metal band Te Ruki (“The Night”), and it kicks so much ass. Even if you think you don’t like black metal, I highly suggest giving this album a whirl. If nothing else, you could learn some words in the Tuamotu language, thanks to the Bandcamp having the English translations for all the lyrics.

Our next spotlight is on number 622 on The List, submitted by mbr.

This album – the only full-length (thus far) from Polynesian black metal band Te Ruki (“The Night”) – kicks so much ass. Someone somewhere called Te Ruki “the French Polynesian answer to Rotting Christ”, which I can’t really comment on because I literally just listened to a Rotting Christ album for the very first time and am not sure that it’s representative of their sound, but maybe that helps someone get a sense of what this band is about. That said, even if you think you don’t like black metal or Rotting Christ, make sure you give this album a whirl. If nothing else, you could learn some words in the Tuamotu language, thanks to the Bandcamp having the English translations for all the lyrics. I’m personally having a hard time remembering to breathe lately will all the nonsense going on these days, so I’m going to try and internalize the meditative lyrics of the closing track, “Tomo Te Aho”, which are mostly a simple repetition of that title:

Bad Berka in Thüringen versteckt im Wald, liegt dort die #Sophienheilstätte . Eine verlassene, verfallene Klinik und die fast 100 Jahre lang als Heilanstalt für Tuberkulosekranke diente.

Es war eine schöne Erfahrungen, das dort gesehen zu haben. Wie auch eindrücke im Bild einzufangen.

Würde mich sehr über Eure Meinung zu meinen #Lostplace Fotografien freuen, wie Eure Eindrücke dazu sind und natürlich auch Eure Erfahrungen.

Liebe Freude und allen User von #Mastodon im deutschsprachigen Raum. War zuletzt nicht mehr sehr aktiv hier, das tut mir leid und weil einige mich gefragt haben und ob es mir gut geht, danke der Nachfrage.

Ja es geht mir bestens und manchmal hat man nichts zu Posten hier oder zu teilen und weil nicht das dabei ist. Was mich anspricht und wo ich dahinter stehe vom Beitrag.

Aber danke der Nachfrage und natürlich kann man mich gern auch privat mal anschreiben und auch so gern im schriftlichen Dialog mit einander treten und sich austauschen.

Also ich war 18 Jahre und #EMO, meine damalige Jugendliebe war etwas Jünger und Thailänder #visualKei und liebte und lebte sehr die Welt der Manga und diesen Style. Er meinte ich sehe aus wie diese Figur aus einen seiner Lieblings Manga s #Teruki. Er hatte mich auch gezeichnet und muss zugeben die Ähnlichkeit damals und war wirklich stark vorhanden zu der Figur. Seit dem nannte er mich @teruki , auf eine gewisse weiße und ist es mein Spitzname geworden oder Künstlername. Auf einer meiner großen Leidenschaften die Fotografie.
