The scam is simple:
- The government blocks all foreign imports with 100% taxes.
- They give "friends" in the south a 0% tax deal to assemble Chinese parts.
- These friends sell you a basic phone at double the global price.
- Politicians and businessmen split the profit. It’s not industrialization; it’s a protected hostage market.
The #FATF took #SouthAfrica, #Nigeria, #Mozambique, and #BurkinaFaso off its “grey list” for weak anti–money laundering enforcement, which is being celebrated by markets but criticized by others as a win for dodgy financiers.
Critics say FATF is toothless, overlooks real #TaxHaven like London and Dubai, and ignores the deep corruption and regulatory rot still rampant in South Africa.
major #crypto exchanges #BTSE (maybe not that major tbh) and #KuCoin (one of the biggest such companies and a major player in the market for tokens like #TRUMP, #MELANIA, #WLFI, etc.) turned out to be too sketchy and connected to too much illicit finance to be allowed to continue to exist even in The Seychelles, so they’ve now moved themselves to Turks & Caicos and Costa Rica which are functionally and/or actually totally unregulated digital assets regimes.
do you know how sketchy your company has to be to get kicked out of The Seychelles?

"This is not the first time Reform UK has taken donations from firms linked to offshore entities. In 2024 Good Law Project revealed that 73.5% of Reform’s donations since 2019 were linked to nine companies and individuals with offshore interests. The continued reliance on donors with links to offshore tax havens calls into question Reform UK’s presentation as a patriotic party".
