They stood near the airport entrances and peacefully protested against the huge emissions generated by a small, wealthy, privileged fraction of the world population.
Despite the climate emergency, traffic from and to Murcia airport is steadily growing.
With flights rapidly increasing, the airport in Raleigh is cutting down a neighboring forest to provide additional parking. The protesters called for banning private jet travel, decreasing aviation emissions, and taxing wealthy emitters.
