Just pushed a solid update to the KoalaSync landing page (https://sync.koalastuff.net). I've added a much-needed FAQ section, and the whole site is now available in 6 languages.
Work on the extension v2.0 is also underway, with the main goal being full localization for the extension UI itself. Meanwhile, still waiting on the Chrome Web Store to finally process the 1.8.10 update...

I may also replace my #MythTV and some other services with #Jellyfin, but I don't see anything that says Jellyfin's #SyncPlay will do what I'm after (especially with the fairly precise synchronization).

SyncPlay's (https://syncplay.pl/) hosted servers have been having some problems (or at least were a few months ago)

It is very small, but i doubt that many people use syncplay, so feel free to use and share until it becomes a problem. No guarantees of continued availability
By the way, it was easy to set up, once i coerced Debian into giving me a particular python version
