Lesson Learned: Never order anything from Lowes for home delivery.
Today is Monday, January 6th in my timezone.
The original schedule was for Saturday, January 4th, between 10:30 to 15:30 because that was what the text message I got said.
The 40lb item was not delivered.
So, I call customer support, and the AVR asks if I want to check order status. 'Yes', I reply.
Not being prompted for anymore information, the AVR said my order number ending in 1717 is in progress and is scheduled to be delivered on January 4th, between 12:30 and 16:30. Two days ago. Note the time window changed from 5 hours to 4 hours, so it is not just a timezone issue.
'Representative' I exclaim!
Note that the AVR had the correct order number digits. It knew because of caller ID.
Rep gets on the line, and asks me for the information that the AVR already has because obviously their automation just sucks.
He then proceeds to repeat the same information that the AVR said.
I said, well that's funny because that is two days old now.
I told him to change the delivery to the local store (I even gave him the store number) and that I would pick it up there.
It is now scheduled for January 11, and a week later than the original schedule.
Lowes should not use RXO for delivery.

This one is worth watching. Ed Zitron explains exactly why tech products now suck, why tech companies suck and aren't trying to fix the products, and how "AI" is definitely not the solution. (Spoiler: it's all down to growth-at-all-costs capitalism). This tracks pretty much perfectly with how I've been explaining these things to friends and relatives.

Coder complaining follows...
I am working on a C# project for hire, and as much as VSCode isn't bad and I want to move to it as my primary coding platform, that's how much Visual Studio STILL sucks. The actual Microsoft world, the non open source, commercial aspect of it, has improved over the years somewhat, but STILL sucks. It's a good thing I am getting paid for this or else I wouldn't do it.
