Start with, "So, Ed, whats up?" then listen to him rant uninterrupted for 50 minutes about whatever AI topic has pissed him off today, then end with, "thanks for your time, Ed!".
10/10, could listen to Ed destroy AI all day, every day.
In my 2025 analysis of Microsoft AI products (☝️), I had to pick something for the "good" bucket. So, I picked GitHub Copilot that was at least gaining paying users.
Turns out the pricing model has been so unsustainable that MS now had to pause paid subscriptions in an unprecedented way. Because "success" is costing them too many tokens & the licensing model needs to be changed.
