Ich fand Holy Hunter schon immer gut. Aber mein Gott wie sehr ich sie dafür liebe, wie sie in Star Trek Starfleet Academy den Kadetten Lektionen erteilt und sich auf dem Käptensstuhl fläzt, das übersteigt meine kühnsten Erwartungen. Ich bin einfach nur baff aufgrund ihrer Performance und Brillianz. Bravo! Bravo! Bravo! Der Dank geht natürlich auch an die Writer, die hier genau wussten was sie tun. #StarTrek #STSFA

The problem with #StarfleetAcademy is that it isn't really "woke", no matter what the idiots say. Yes, there is all that diversity, so fucking what. It doesn't address any problems of any real society, it doesn't show us how the world could be different. Now #DeepSpaceNine was a #StarTrek series which really used #ScienceFiction to tell us how the world could be different, not in terms of technology but how society is organised. And it gave us the Ferengi not as oversized comic book villains but as a remnant of #Capitalism in a galaxy that has largely outgrown such things, it gave us a proletarian perspective, it showed us how the workers can fight the system. #DS9 was a socialist show, #STSFA is just liberal. And despite what some American "conservatives" (nowadays mostly fascists) think, liberals are not on the left side of the political spectrum, they are as close to the centre as it gets. Liberals think everything can be fixed if we are just good people and do good things, but that's not how it works, we need to dismantle the economical power of private property, which is much more difficult for us than for 23rd century Ferengi proles since we haven't got any replicators.
