The petition response even admits the evidence doesn't support it, that it is not helping, and it is a waste of money, but #farmers are too thick to understand this and #UKGov is committed to "Something must be done, this is something, ergo we must do this" mode.

Okay, to the #UKGov has responded to the #StopTheCull petition, and basically said that the reason they are carrying on with the #BadgerCull is that they think #Farmers are too thick to know how not to cull badgers.
They prettied up the language, but the gist is farmers are too thicko to work out how not to shoot things.
