I can't stand when people say this because it's often misleading. If they mean, I actually did this and never had a problem, fine, but often it's.. something they have never experienced at all, and they're adding their two worthless cents.

Such as "I've never had a problem with the police" implies they've had good interactions, but in reality it means they've never met a police officer in person. Never. Thus, never had a problem.
