As the Resident Doctors prepare to strike again this week, rather than listen to West Streeting malign them, why not read what Dr Jack Fletcher (chair of the British Medical Association’s UK resident doctors committee) has to say:
'we need the secretary of state to recognise the reality we’re in, to treat the profession with respect & work with us towards a credible deal'.
I doubt Streeting is listening....

Also most places have all these "#Perks", they are called mandatory minimums and get employers jailed if they were to refuse things like #PaidParentalLeave, #PaidSickLeave and #PaidVacationLeave...
I’ve been involved over the years with events to commemorate the 1934 Truckers’ Strike in Minneapolis. Though, sadly, a full on street festival is unlikely this year, there will be other events.
- An art exhibition at The Minneapolis Central Library in June & July.
-A picnic at Minnehaha Park (Wabun Picnic area). July 27th, 2024.
