I heard this in the early 1970s and always wanted to put my spin on it. My variation simplifies the 3 original violin and bass parts down to 2 MIDI Guitar parts, a Drum Machine and some Hand Percussion.
Johann Pachelbel (1653-1706), was a popular South German composer, organist, and teacher.

I’ve worked with Sergio Boré years ago, but we’d lost contact entirely. Until I released a 2025 remaster of my song ‘DOINITRITE’ to which he’d added several percussion tracks¹.

Here's a progress clip from my work in progress since last year. It's a fusion of my musical traditions Indigenous African and the African and Roma Diaspora. I swapped out the acoustic guitar for a claw hammer and glitch Banjo.
