Make an original piece of art using #FOSS tools to create a mascot for #SoftwareFreedomDay. There are some Huion drawing tablets up for grabs, and the submission deadline has been extended to November 9th.

A month later than I was aiming for, but here's something I made to celebrate #SoftwareFreedomDay 2025.
From 2006 - 2015, I ran SFD events, providing a venue to showcase and publicly celebrate what people in the local community were doing with #FOSS. It was a rewarding time, and we introduced many hundreds of people to the ideas and ideals of the Free Software movement.
I don't do that anymore, but I still believe F/OSS tools and communities enrich the world and improve people's lives <3
