I struggled with #religion as shaping all aspects of life after being told repeatedly about a benevolent, omnipresent, omniscient, omnipotent #God. One by one all of those illusions were shattered — the last one by the logical contradiction: "Can God create a rock so heavy that even He can't lift it?"
I triumphed. Even He could not convince me that the fantastic tales His followers spin about their #SkyDaddy are real.
Red Shirt DudeCan Christians and Muslims look forward to an eternity of fighting each other in "Heaven"? I'm pretty sure that, if it existed, it would technically be the same place no matter what you call your #SkyDaddy.
I get it that different people have different intellectual abilities. Some never grow out of a childish cartoon world, and they think they know everything.
I made the mistake of engaging her assuming that she would be as willing to look at information that I provided to her as I was in looking at the cartoon video she sent to me, but she decided to #DwellInTheWell of her own willful ignorance instead.
