Shaky Debuts New Single “In A Heartbeat” From Anticipated Album “Kinda Wild” II

February 6, 2026, marks the official streaming release of “In a Heartbeat,” the lead single from Shaky’s much-anticipated sophomore album, Kinda Wild II. Released via Shaky Records, the single arrives with the b-side track “Bait.” Fans who visited Shaky’s YouTube channel last week already got a sneak peek via the Joe Lee-directed music video, which features nostalgic 2011 footage of the artist’s former band, Cold Fronts, and his legendary DIY venue, The Rathaus.

Following the success of his 2025 debut, which spent six weeks on the NACC Top 200, Shaky is scaling up his reach. The new campaign is backed by the renowned marketing agency Pirate!, ensuring the record hits non-commercial radio waves across North America. “In a Heartbeat” is now available on all major streaming platforms.

مُـضَـعْـضَـعْ (shaky); OK, at this level here, I've turned off the background flash, and replaced the white mist filter with black mist filter (which would create halos around the object, but maybe more visible in upcoming shots). Despite being like a stable shot but this is actually a high-speed one, with 1/8000 sec of shutter speed, for a moment just before the die jump up in the air after knocking them from under the desk with a hammer. To me, I find this shot is even more interesting than those coming up, because capturing motion is easy, but capturing that moment between stillness and motion, is not that easy (and often requires an automated process with special triggers, while I'm doing the work manually here).
