Aber: Es sieht angemessen episch aus, das Scripting macht die Heldys wenigstens zu dollen Dachsen, die Set Pieces sind das, was Dreizehnjährige erwarten und es knallt einfach. Ran the third prelude from #Dragonlance #ShadowOfTheDragonQueen today. A first-time player decided to throw a dart at long range, rolling with disadvantage. In his first attack roll in his first ever game of D&D, he rolled two natural 20s, scoring a critical hit!

Running the second prelude from #Dragonlance #ShadowOfTheDragonQueen tomorrow! The first was a success. Anybody got a good backup puzzle in case they solve the main one too quickly? Bonus points if the solution involves casting Minor Illusion, Disguise Self, or Charm Person. #dnd

Preparing to run the first session of #dragonlance #shadowofthedragonqueen tomorrow. Going to be running the first prelude, “broken silence”, but there’s so little that happens in it that I’ve come up with a door puzzle I can slot in if it looks like we’ll have extra time.

Completed reading of #ShadowOfTheDragonQueen Pretty good #DragonLance adventure requiring minimal re-hashing. Suffers a bit from 5ed mechanic effects but OK.

The best bit of #ShadowOfTheDragonQueen is when the elves ask for help in finding "some ancient ruins", althought "Dalamar knows there are none around" then take the characters back to their encampment which is "in the middle of some ancient ruins"...

I may just have to go the whole hog and write up a full critique of #ShadowOfTheDragonQueen Current issue is a town with half a bridge (destroyed in the cataclysm) but there’s no road to the bridge or on the opposing side of the river. The mercenary company there isn’t occupying the fortifications and the town is described as a backwater whilst being on a major trade route (despite its lack of road)

More #ShadowOfTheDragonQueen ranting. The infiltrators wear armour emblazoned with the symbol of Takhisis, which the characters can recognise despite the fact that there have been no gods for 300 years. Oh and the old “The NPCs cannot be saved, revived or resurrected” error #FFS

I love #Dragonlance and it’s always has a problem with #Railroading but text like this has no place in an RPG adventure #ShadowOfTheDragonQueen
