Sorry to be a downer, but I've got to be honest now. #Screamer will likely be a great game, but it's DOA because Milestone refuse to promote their games, so no-one will know it even exists.

Their last post was on January 26th when the game is out in five days - their last video four days earlier got 555k views!

They just don't give a fuck what happens with their own games for some reason.

Along with they've already said they don't plan to add any post-launch content, it's going to be a ghost town in days.

I've already turned off the auto-download and although I probably won't, I'm thinking of cancelling the pre-order. No doubt I'm to blame having bought into the hype by doing that.

In the character selection screen for Screamer, although there are the 5 teams of 3, there are 16 characters selectable. You can have 16 in single races too.

It's going to be the dog, Fermi, isn't it? We know it drives in the tournament's test races.

It's incredible to see all the racing game YouTubers who've played this game uniformly have loved it.

Either there's a big coordinated plot, or this could be pretty special.

I just hope it gets people playing it now, and doesn't become 'loved too late'.

So it seems yesterday racing game YouTubers were able to release their previews of #Screamer - and from what I've seen, it was universally enjoyed.

I just hope it doesn't fall into the 'great game no-one played at the time' category, as the way the game's campaign is being structured suggests to me it could get expanded upon, if there's a good player base.
