COVID is an infection acquired via the respiratory route, primarily transmitted via inhalation of infectious aerosols. That doesn't mean it's just a respiratory infection. Similarly, no longer having respiratory symptoms doesn't mean you've cleared the infection. #medsky #scisky #longCOVID

The ironic thing is they sold this to primary care docs as guaranteeing them - not scientists, not specialists, not patients - control over "what science says" (and therefore 💰💰💰)... ...then screwed them over too, and redefined primary care to let public health grab power. #medsky #scisky #cdnpoli
