One paper
found two gene variants (SOD2 and EPHX1) which were associated with Long COVID progression.
Another found vaccines safe in pregnancy:
the risk of birth defects does not go up if the mom got revaccinated: not with COVID Classic-based vaccines, not with bivalent vaccines
and
getting COVID-19 increases the risk of lung cancer by 22%.
For other pathogens, a very strong association between EBV and cancer, in some circumstances:
that people with a specific gene allele (HLA-A*11:01− or HLA-A*02:07+) who are infected with a specific strain of the Epstein-Barr virus (85841G) have a significantly higher risk of nasopharyngeal cancer. ...in that area .. they account for 47% of nasopharyngeal cancer
