The other extreme: decision avoidance, including maximizing is both excruciating and ultimately wasteful.

Recently that tactic ended in a rashly chosen “IT focus” ($*%! ) that will haunt me … for years.

I say I am an #agnostic #nihilist because belief is not a route to knowledge. But I am also an #absurdist by way of #existentialism . In our phenomenological acceptance (or faith in) the way things are we discover #meaning which is actually an interpretation of #causation. A form of #satisficing within the ‘wrong but useful (informational) models’ within our minds. In the wrongness of the models but the requirement to decide is the freedom of our will in the most practical and real sense to ‘us’ as minds.

This week I explore trust developing through iterative interactions that are shaped by cultural, structural, and relational factors.

Generative #AI is changing the way we complete tasks. While it is helpful for tasks like planning a trip or meal, it cannot replace the #creativity of humans. Its best use is for simplifying obnoxious tasks. It can support writers and other professionals whose fields cannot be replaced by AI. Yet, we should keep an eye on the revenue models of these tools and put restrictions on their monetization to ensure they are used responsibly.
