O Dia Em Que a Terra Parou (The Day The Earth Stood Still, 1951)

É um filme antigo, em preto e branco e que envelheceu muito bem, mas inventaram de fazer um remake com Keanu Reeves em 2008, ficou horrível e perdeu totalmente a essência. Recomendo o de 1951 e também o conto "Adeus ao Mestre", de Harry Bates, presente no livro Histórias de Robôs - Volume 1, editado por Issac Asimov. Serviu de base para o roteiro, mas há uma grande diferença que faz valer a pena, mesmo para quem já assistiu ao filme.

Tonight's film is West Side Story a 1961 American musical romantic drama film directed by Robert Wise and Jerome Robbins, written by Ernest Lehman, and produced by Wise. The film is an adaptation of the 1957 Broadway musical of the same title, which in turn was inspired by Shakespeare's play Romeo and Juliet. It stars Natalie Wood, Richard Beymer, Russ Tamblyn, Rita Moreno, and George Chakiris and was photographed by Daniel L. Fapp in Super Panavision 70. The music was composed by Leonard Bernstein, with lyrics by Stephen Sondheim.
