I figured it out! You send the command SC; (no arguments) and it gives you a scanning state. :D

So I have a #Yaesu #FT991a that I'm using with #rigctl , but I can't figure out how to get whether or not it's scanning. Anyone have any ideas? :/

Hamlib 4.6 was released 2 weeks ago and has a breaking change that will break anything trying to compile it in, except for #fldigi whose author has already committed a fix. This breaking change has been reverted in the upcoming 4.6.1 so it might be a good idea to stick with 4.5.5 until then. #rigctl #ham

So I got an #RTSystems USB-63 cable from #DXEngineering and I've just run "./usbPortCheckerThingy.sh" in one shell window before plugging it in, and again in an adjacent shell window after, so I could see what to change in the #CQRLOG settings for #rigctl.

THE HOPE is that rigctl will use one cable, flrig will use the other, and they will peacefully coexist.

Trying to set up Pat #Winlink on #macos. So far, no luck running #ARDOP and getting #rigctl to see my radio. I am tempted to give up and try again on the Pi tomorrow
