#hamradio is all about patience. It took more than 2 hours, but finally a first DX in USA/Midwest

Is it useful? Kinda.
Does it look cool? Yes!

HamClock, running in a #docker container on a #raspberrypi and displayed on a iPad.

This browser extension (also available in the Chrome store) is incredibly useful. It allows you to view most other Mastodon instances' local timelines without creating a specific account for them, as long as you are logged into a Mastodon account somewhere.

The conditions on 20m #hf have been bad for days for me, but suddenly South America opened up and I worked my first contacts in Brazil! #dx #hamradio #ft8 #digitalmodes
I am still struggling to understand the band conditions data from hamqsl.com or solar.w5mmw.com, 20m should be “good”, but it’s completely closed right now for me 🤔 #hamradio #hfbands
This old Macbook Pro was collecting dust on a shelf. A cheap SSD upgrade later, it’s now rocking a perfectly working #archlinux install. I will use it for all things #hamradio, since my main laptop with macOS is giving me too many headaches for that. Will post the results later. #oldhardware
