Retired IT midrange (Solaris, AIX, DEC, FreeBSD, Linux) Professional, with a parallel history of Amateur and Professional Theatre Lighting design and back stage work.

Mainly interested in melding radio and computers and occasionally active on digital modes. Did packet back in the 80s, Amprnet gateways and packet BBSs in the 90s, had a bit of a break and am now back fiddling with SDR, DMR, D-Star, MMDVM and anything else that catches my somewhat scattered attention.
