As usual, I forgot to take a before picture of this plant stand I restored. It had a copper finish with much darker green patina that was coming off in sheets. A third of the top had a dark layer of rust. The first picture is after I stripped it and sanded down the rust. I didn't sand it perfectly as I still wanted the look of age. Once again forgot to take a before picture but I found this at a flea market for a dollar. It was covered with nasty, ripped fake tapestry fabric. The new covering isn't perfect but it will serve it's purpose as a step stool to the higher shelves of stock in my leather studio.
(As a bonus, it was filled with sewing supplies, some brand new in the packages.)
