My goodness, #RedRooms is a dark #thriller – and it's not even finished yet.
I find that the #film is somehow indicative of the #film #industry. All sorts of rubbish is hyped up, while worthwhile #films that sometimes demand a little more of the viewer get overlooked.

Halfdan ReschatI stumbled upon the thriller Les Chambres Rouges (Red Rooms) (2023) yesterday and decided to watch it today, because something felt different about it. That was definitely the case.
Red Rooms is a heavily atmospheric film that gives most scenes, and even cuts, the time needed to create and explore a sense of unease. And it does so with such expertise in the visuals and the sounds that I was glued to the screen the whole way through.
A thoroughly impressive film indeed.
