I stumbled upon the thriller Les Chambres Rouges (Red Rooms) (2023) yesterday and decided to watch it today, because something felt different about it. That was definitely the case.
Red Rooms is a heavily atmospheric film that gives most scenes, and even cuts, the time needed to create and explore a sense of unease. And it does so with such expertise in the visuals and the sounds that I was glued to the screen the whole way through.
A thoroughly impressive film indeed.
