The landfall prediction changed from directly over our house, to a few of kilometres to the south.
Shout out to the tireless workers at the local Morton Bay Regional Council depot, working to supply sand and bags for us to fill. Many thousands of tonnes of sand has gone through this one depot.
After the 2022 heavy rains, the owner arranged the drain and a sump with a pump out to the street. Lets hope the back pressure from the 1 to 2 metre gutter flow on the road does not damage the pump, like the last heavy rains.
