Hey, remember when this was a thing. Wasn't that fun...
I'm a "spent 20 hours a day behind his computer desk as a teenager" who thankfully realized not too late in life the importance of health and exercise.
This past weekend I ran the Cap10k for the second time and even managed to set a new personal best for the 10k distance (6.21 miles).
I do this for the incredible benefit of my mental health as well as an attempt to live as long and healthy of a life as I can for my children.
Getting in a little more practice with my longbow, before tomorrow's tournament... My 20 yard shots were way off today (too low), for some reason...
I so told my wife this at one point when I first started running.
“All I need is shoes!”
Yeaaaahh…

It’s been over a year since I began a more committed fitness “journey”. Here I reflect and share some thoughts on where I started, what my plan has been, how it’s been going and what my ultimate goals are.
🎉100lbs lost!🎉 No big deal but I've been hangry for like three years now 😆
For anyone wondering, I used the good old fashioned "eat less and move more" technique. Nothing fancy, no secret, just hard work over a long time 💪
Oh and alcohol has a LOT of calories, especially craft beer. Going #sober was probably the single biggest reason for success.
Back to 5am runs.. must be summer time in Texas.
Seriously, at 8pm the heat index is still well over 100. 5am is about the only “cool” time of the day, and even then by 6am it’s starting to heat up already.
Day 12 - Daily Calisthenics (6 of 6)
Pushup/squat challenge. At least twenty of each every two hours, while working.
