Rated choice is simpler, faster to implement, immune to the spoiler effect entirely, and more representative of public sentiment.

Rated choice is the best system of voting we have come up with so far. It doesn’t devolve (like ranked) into any limited number of candidates.

#Ratedchoicevoting is hard to find a lot of info about now in 2024… #rankedchoicevoting is the one that seems to have “won” but I worry that win is artificial.

Rated is superior because there are no run-off redistributions of the vote tallies. Which prevents gaming the system, simplifies the counting process, making it easier to scale nationally.

Rated choice: give each candidate an independent rating of 0-5 ⭐️s.

This removes the spoiler effect completely too!

You know what: I support the null option. If enough pick the null option - redo the election with new candidates. Repeats until we get people that people actually like and aren’t forced to accept!
