Around the house where the lived for the first few months in Sweden were a lot of little streams. Some of them run through old, mossy, enchanted looking woods where one could spend ages and not stop wondering…

(and also not stop wondering how many mosquitoes it takes to suck a grown man dry)

Last night I once again was sort of lucky with the northern lights… they were weak and partly covered by hazy clouds, but at least through the camera they gave the sky an interesting look…

Yesterday I visited a former open pit gold mine called #Enåsengruvan that is located in the area where I live.
Because of the high concentrations of heavy metals the lake that was formed by water filling up the mine is on the toxic side and therefore pretty much bare of life. This is (I think) one of the reasons for the incredibly clear water. If the blue colour comes purely from the clear water and the depth (more than 20 meters) or if the metal concentrations have any part I do not know.

It was in any case a spectacular view, especially whenever the sun was not blocked by clouds.
