I got a tube of #Qor #watercolor Naples Yellow Deep earlier in the week and sat down with it yesterday.

It’s an odd duck so far! In my experience the Qor line of paints experience the least amount of color shifting while drying. I really love that about them. And Naples Yellow Deep throws that out the window. I’ve never had this experience of mixing a color, hating how it looked wet, just despising it, and having it look pretty nice when it dries.

Because of some psychic damage I had to take at work today I treated myself to a little tube of Naples yellow deep watercolor paint.

I got it to hopefully mix with burnt umber to get a perfect Lake Michigan sand color in a light wash, but also I’ve seen some lovely mixes with Quinacridone Magenta.

Sadly I can’t use it because I’m missing my watercolor half pan I thought I had, and I didn’t have time today to fix the 3D printer and make a new one
