4.) #Workers are not owned by our employers. We do not owe our employers. Our employers give us nothing and we give them everything. The power is with the workers. We are the ones who build society. We build what our employers buy and sell, even if what they are selling is an experience. We are the economy. The economy should be shaped to serve us rather than just twisting ourselves into pain, often embodied pain, and the emotional pain of humiliation and self-erasure to serve our employers, customers, clients, members, and the economy. We are more than our jobs. We are not our jobs. We should not bow down to our employers--they should bow down to us. They should be afraid of us. We have power.
