Are there any #PowerTool nerds here?

My DeWalt brushless 18V drill seems to be having difficulty with its pressure-sensitive trigger. Rather than a gentle acceleration with gradual squeezing of the trigger, I'm getting spasmodic speed variations, and it's shitting me.
