Ah, #firefox Split-tab is bloody good, if you are not using any tiling Window Manager. Very useful.
How to open? Put your cursor on any damn link and right-click, and it should show you the option for split-view, select that.
How to close? Look at the address bar(where you type the url), on the right, there is a split symbol. Click on it, and it will show the options for closing.
☕ NO, I DON'T CARE, and I DON'T USE #vim keys( aka Evil Mode) in #emacs. I stuck with using default Emacs's mode keybinds, and from the beginning, Period.
Likewise, I DON'T CARE, and I DON'T USE any damn resemblance of #emacs keybinds in #vim. I have been stuck with using Vim's default keybinds from the beginning. Period.
Why make things complicated??? Oh, you are following the "Experts" advice to do that???

Damnit!! Most of my "thinking" is bogus....useless...abject nonsense and has no real-world value.
Shit...still the damn thing is stopping me from having a good sleep...the day somehow manages...non constructive thinking is flooding the space ...irks..

Huh! When my own automation shows me a "middle finger" and reminds me of my lackluster understanding, that is not a pleasant feeling ...sigh.
Never mind, I have been rigged with hard learning curve .....not so lucky as you are :)
