The original plan for this weekend was some more playing around with #popochiu and making another set of Steamdeck buttons, on top of some reading and gaming.
Instead it was plenty of reading and gaming (Loco Motive) plus continuing our rewatch of Gravity Falls, and several desperately needed naps.
And that is ok because rest is important.
Also, I played it on the #SteamDeck with the controller input scheme instead of the usual mouse controls and I have to say that was one of the most interesting and well working controller based input schemes I've ever seen in a point-and-click adventure!
I'm currently learning #Popochiu to create my own adventures in #Godot and I'll have to see how to replicate that control scheme there!
New year, new me.
It's finally time to check Popochiu.

Yesterday: Finished a coherent writeup of premise, artist created first room and character concept, fixed an issue in #popochiu
Today: Puzzle design. Created a puzzle dependency chart and already started cutting and changing story. It’s been helpful!
My team is at the other side of the world so we check in twice a day: Before my bedtime and before their bedtime. 😄
