These photos confuse me. There's a note that they were apparently taken #OnThisDay 18 September 1971 and they're all captioned "1971 Benson Air Show"... except I can't find anything to say there *was* an air show at Benson in 1971, and the weather in the photos doesn't really line up with what's in the Met Office observation archives (around 50% cloud, 18°C).

The first two photos are, apparently, the late Prince Phillip, the Duke of Edinburgh, arriving by helicopter at the show. The Spitfire is still in action today, attending air shows and private displays, whilst the Cherokee in the final photo was apparently destroyed in a crash in 1977.
