@stveje I think that the unwillingness of #NATO & #EU to answer #Russia|s #Aggression is a sign of "weakness" in the eyes of #Putin.

• In fact I think that it's a sign of #cowardice not to put #Pershing-2 rockets into Finland, Poland, Estonia and Romania as well as issue a #NOTAM that any airborne vehicle, regardless if land, sea or air, that isn't approved in advance by authorities will be shot on sight without warning.

Otherwise this constant aggression and violation will continue...

• I mean, ask #Ireland how often they get harrassed with Russian #Tu95 violating their airspace. They're so close in joining NATO if not setting up SAMs and AA turrets...

Personally, I'm flabberghasted amidst the unwarranted calmness in the face of aggressions, cuz Putin wouldn't wait for positive IDing an intruder but rather court-martial any Air Defense Soldier who didn't "start shooting and ask questions later"...

• #Russia does have defenses against ballistic missiles but at that speed, they'll have to either station a shitton of #9K34 "Strela-3" and have them manned 24/7 in hopes they can shoot it down if not constantly scramble jets in the air to shoot it down.
