The Second Annual Queer Art Party and Campout in the Woods The Queer Art Party in the woods will return to Estancia Serenova this year, on Friday, June 14 through Saturday, June 15 (with optional camping possible through Sunday, June 16)— just in time for the Portland Pride weekend! It will be a celebration of LGBTQ+ artists, and it will offer a slower-paced break from the urban noises. This event offers several open-ended opportunities to inspire creativity and collaborations, including beautiful woodland settings for plein air and open photo shoots! Additional activities are possible as the day approaches. The Friday evening will be a community potluck (we have BBQ!). Bring your own art supplies, musical instruments, etc. We will also have a space where you can display and/or sell your artwork, craft, zines, and so on. This will be a low-key, open-ended event. This year, I will be asking for a suggested donation of $10 to $20 per person (no one is turned away for the lack of funds). Bring your own tent and any necessary camping gear. If you’d rather prefer an indoor accommodation, it will be available at a standard price from the retreat center. This event is presented by the Preslar Gallery, soon-to-be the Preslar Art Initiatives.

Check out "Creative Problem Solving: fun, playful way to unlock any challenge"
Saturday, May 4 at the Preslar Gallery
Hello! I'm Willow. I'm an entrepreneur and an artist based in Portland area. I have been using this method of problem-solving and creative thinking for a couple of years and it has helped me to think outside the box and chart a path to unlock all kinds of challenges, big ones, and small ones. In fact, I use it even when I don't have a "problem" -- it's perfect for planning and brainstorming, too, on any subject matter imaginable. Sounds too good to be true? I'm a practical person, and I don't waste my time on something that doesn't work. This is: No "spiritual" or New Age mumbo jumbo. Not religious or sectarian. No "inner work," "self-actualization" or other weird, questionable stuff. Not something you have to buy special software, app, or books for. For people from all walks of life. It's easy enough even kids can learn it. Something you can do it anytime, anywhere. Fun and game-like... in fact, silliness and playfulness are ENCOURAGED! Down-to-earth practical and relevant for everyone. It is my delight to share this with you. $35 per person, minimum 3 and maximum 20 participants. All registration fees are NON-REFUNDABLE, but may be transferred to another person OR use the credit toward any future event.
