Un buonissimo western, semplice e dall'impronta classica ma ben fatto e ben recitato.

A man not being able to escape his past is a constant theme in movies, especially in westerns. So it was with a little side eye that I went into this one. Boy, were my expectations exceeded. Old Henry McCarty is a is a farmer, living with his teenage son in the turn of the century Oklahoma Territory. A horse rides up without a rider and Old Henry takes a look and finds a man, shot, along with a saddlebag filled with loot. Against his better judgment he takes the man back to his house. And then, men show up

Western is not my favorite movie genre. I had no expectations for this film. Actually, I expected another totally forgettable western movie. But I was totally surprised when I watched it. It's a good western, with a good story well developed and no unnecessary excess of violence. I think people who likes the genre will love this movie,

La vi sin ninguna expectativa ya que el western estΓ‘ lejos de ser mi gΓ©nero favorito, pero terminΓ© agradablemente sorprendido. Una buena pelΓcula, intensa, con buena historia y bien contada. La dosis de violencia justa.
Seguro que si les gusta el western, les va a gustar mucho mΓ‘s que a mΓ.
